Inventory Overview

One way we positively distinguish ourselves from competitors is through the availability of turn-key buildings and industrial properties. Each of the County’s industrial parks is “profit-ready” and offers a complete and existing infrastructure.

Sites

Vigo County Industrial Park-
The VCIP is 1,500-acres owned by a single entity, Vigo County Redevelopment Commission. It features all underground power service and a brand new substation for reliability. Natural Gas, sanitary sewer, potable water and fiber optic services are there and waiting. Convenient transportation access is available to adjacent U.S. Highway 41, via Industrial Drive.

Chinook Property-
The Chinook property is an approximately 7,000-acre "mega site" located 55-miles west of the Indianapolis Interstate Highway 465 beltway in west central Indiana. The northern property boundary is Interstate Highway 70.  The property is composed of approximately 2,000- acres of undisturbed farm land and woodland along with approximately 5,000-acres of reclaimed strip mine land. The entire property is owned by two entities.  The site is three-miles east of the City of Terre Haute, Indiana. 

Power is available on the property; all other utilities are available within close proximity.  Rail service is provided by the Indiana Rail Road Company.  A rail spur over three-miles in length runs along the western border of the property  Terre Haute International Airport-Hulman Field is the nearest airport (two-miles west) to the Chinook property.  The airport infrastructure can accommodate most any size aircraft with its 9,020-foot runway.  The Indianapolis International Airport is within a one-hour's drive time of the Chinook site.

Fort Harrison Business Park-
A privately-held facility within Terre Haute’s corporate limits. This facility, one can purchase greenfield sites for the development of new industrial structures.

The 152-acre planned development situated at the northeast corner of North Fruitridge Avenue and the Steelton Road intersection in Terre Haute, Indiana. Portions of the Park are currently being developed which include manufacturing and commercial use, distribution and warehousing, and office space and industrial facilities. There is approximately 113 acres+/- still available.

Jadcore Phase I Economic
Development Area

A privately owned industrial complex in the City of Terre Haute that offers a unique alternative to the traditional industrial park. Jadcore Phase I consists of leased space occupied by warehousing tenants, manufacturing activities, and distribution.



Donnenhoffer Property-
This 80-acre greenfield is bordered on two sides with several thousand feet of rail.  Located adjacent to the Fort Harrison Industrial Park, the site is zoned for M-2 Heavy Industry.  The property is available as a design /build construction package.

Distributors  

Distributors Terminal Building-

Doughmakers Building-

ICON Building-

Positioned near the Wabash River, the ICON Building is approximately two-miles from Interstate Highway 70 and less than a quarter mile from U.S. Highway 41.

Modern Welding Building-

The 43,000-square-foot facility is positioned on 7.6 acres and is within close proximity to both the Jadcore Phase I Economic Development Area, and the Forth Harrison Industrial Park and the Fort Harrison Business Park.  Access to Interstate Highway 70 is within five-miles via adjacent Fruitridge Avenue to U.S. Highway 40 and to State Road 46.

Parkway Building-

This facility located at 4120 3rd Parkway, is well suited for warehousing, distribution and manufacturing.  The Parkway Building is located in the Fort Harrison Industrial Park.  The 43,200-square-foot facility is positioned on 2 plus acres.  Constructed in 1942, the walls are steel.  Column spacing is 20' x 20' with eaves at 14-feet.  The building includes two offices, restrooms, 3 overhead doors and 3 dock doors.  Office is Heated and Air Conditioned.

Certified Technology Park-Rose Hulman Institute of Technology South Campus-
RHIT South Campus is a 180-acre Certified Technology Park.  It is home to Rose-Hulman Ventures, a 35,000 square-foot business incubator facility.   The facility is well-served with regard to power, natural gas, sanitary sewer, potable water, ingress/egress and telecommunications services.

Rose-Hulman Ventures, a department of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, provides educational opportunities for students and faculty while assisting technology-enabled businesses. This unique combination creates career opportunities for new graduates and the development of innovative technologies and technology companies. 

Terre Haute Innovation Alliance-

This economic development and education initiative is a partnership between the City of Terre Haute, the Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation, Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The incubator is located on the campus of Indiana State University, lower level at the John T.
